Some love stories begin unexpectedly, and Ashley and Trent's is one of those stories that unfolded through adventure, new beginnings, and saying "yes" to a life together.

When Trent moved to North Carolina to attend physical therapy school, he quickly fell in love with everything the state had to offer. Being just two hours from the mountains and two hours from the beach felt like the perfect place to build a life. Before long, Ashley joined him, and together they embraced their new home, spending weekends exploring scenic trails, charming mountain towns, and everything in between.

It only seems fitting that one of those adventures would become one of the most important days of their lives.

While on a getaway to Asheville, the two hiked to a beautiful waterfall where Trent got down on one knee and asked Ashley to marry him. Although the proposal itself was a surprise, Ashley admits she had a feeling it was coming. Normally she's the one planning every detail of their trips, but this time things felt a little different. Then there was the accidental giveaway—a jeweler's mailer arrived at their home, complete with a ring sizing kit she wasn't supposed to see! Even with the hints, the moment itself was incredibly special.

The engagement ring was every bit as unique as their story. Trent had it custom designed with a delicate wavy band, creating a timeless piece that perfectly reflected Ashley's style.

Their wedding day was everything they had hoped for: sunny skies, warm weather, and the kind of joyful atmosphere that makes everyone smile a little bigger.
