Menomonee Falls In-Home Newborn Session | Emma

There is something incredibly special about welcoming a new baby into a home that is already overflowing with love. Emma's in-home newborn session was exactly that—a morning filled with quiet snuggles, tiny details, and the sweetest sibling moments.

Big kudos to mom and dad for Emma’s beautifully curated nursery. Every detail had been thoughtfully chosen, from the soft pink tones to the darling daisy accents that made the room feel warm, timeless, and welcoming. It was the perfect backdrop to capture these first precious days at home.

This session felt especially meaningful because it wasn't my first time photographing this family. I first met Sophie and Payten a few years ago after they had moved from Colorado and were expecting their very first baby. It has been such an honor to watch their family grow over the years. Being invited back into their home to document Emma's arrival was a full-circle moment that reminded me why I love what I do.

There is something so beautiful about in-home newborn sessions. They tell the story of where your family begins this new chapter—not in a studio, but in the spaces where you'll rock your baby to sleep, read bedtime stories, and make countless memories together. Years from now, these photographs won't just remind Sophie and Payten of how tiny Emma was; they'll remind them of the home where their family of four first found its rhythm.

Welcome to the world, sweet Emma. You are already so deeply loved, and it was such a joy to capture the beginning of your story.

When Grandma is in the house to help, we document her, too!
