CONGRATULATIONS on adding the newest little blessing to your family! Thank you so much for considering me as your maternity and newborn photographer!

Using a “documentary approach,” Grace Creatives leads parents with simple instructions to hold and/or place their newborns in natural poses and positions. This style leads to capturing each baby and their features while he/she is on his/her back, side, or tummy. These positions are either on a padded surface or in a Boppy. Grace Creatives prefers to not pose a child in positions where more safety risks are involved or where a trained assistant is needed (ex: froggy style, inside wobbly crates/boxes or propped up).

Additional information to consider:

• Think about choosing outfits, props, and special items that you wish to document. Grace Creatives provides neutral-toned blanket backdrops and swaddled.

• The best time to document your newborn session is when your child is ~10 days old. Obviously, I would love to photograph your sweet babe at any time, however, this is typically a good time because baby is still sleepy but lasts a little longer between feeds and momma is feeling a little more like herself. Newborn sessions should be scheduled in advance, so time can be reserved around your due date.

• I serve most of my newborn clients from the comfort of their own homes. If interested, we can certainly document your newborn session in a studio. If interested in booking a session at a studio, a $100 fee for weekday sessions and a $120 fee for weekend sessions is added.
