School is back in session! Each year around this time, we are reminded of new beginnings, years of growth, and time for some cooler weather! For Chichaya, this Fall brings her senior year, and I had the privilege to document her senior portraits in downtown Golden, CO. Scroll along the page, to see this beautiful young lady, several of her passions, and a special time to be remembered.

I was delighted to hear that Chichaya and her grandmother wanted to document her senior pictures in downtown Golden near the riverwalk and history park. Not only is this location beautiful, but it also holds fun memories for Chichaya from when she was younger. It was fun to hear that she had taken pictures on the butterfly sculptures, floated in the water with friends, and participated in various events there over the years!

As we wandered around the area snapping pictures, Chichaya was able to bring out so many fun pieces to help tell her story and define who she is! She truly is a remarkable lady who loves to travel, play violin, and escape into the wizarding world of Harry Potter (um, yes please!). I was honored to incorporate some of these elements into her portraits and I had fun capturing all that she had to offer.

All in all, I want to thank Chichaya and her grandparents for allowing me into their lives and documenting this special time! Cheers to a new school year and season change! 🙂
